Fantastic location in Bergen, ideal for all the main attractions! The hotel itself is unique and quirky — every room is different and ours was lovely with space to sit and chill. The bathroom had both a walk-in shower and traditional bath. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great and really sets you up for the day. We’d been wanting to stay here for some time and we weren’t disappointed at all. Would definitely return!

I love the history imbued in the very walls of this hotel. It was like taking a walk into the past while still retaining all the comforts of our modern age. Great location, quiet despite being in the tourist area, and very helpful staff. We had a slanted roof room with an amazing bathroom — great shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was excellent with wonderful variety. Perfect location for seeing the old Hanseatic harbor city of Bergen. I hope to return soon!

Lovely old hotel with a superb breakfast buffet and a nice quiet room with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Perfect location just two minutes walk to the Bryggen harbour area and five minutes to the funicular. The rooms are well-appointed in traditional style with modern bathrooms. The design of the two connected buildings with glass atrium recalled the wooden alleys of the historic area. Front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful with taxis, storing bags, and recommendations. Great for exploring central Bergen!
